A pair of half-sisters traveling through interstellar space recollect on their time together. After a intergalactic war left them stranded, they are left to speculate what the future holds for them amongst the beauty and danger of deep space.
"Inertia began as an experiment with minimalism. I wanted to be able to showcase a character-based short film that could still take place in a science fiction universe. The characters, names, and places mentioned in the short are all from the novel, From the Aether Returned, published in 2007."
